Dear Mr. Heirig,

When I called Harry Lofton of Lofton-Wells Insurance to ask him to recommend a company that could repair my floor, he told me yours was the only company he would trust with his own home.  I now know why.

Your professionalism and decency in handling the unforeseen problems that arose made all the difference.  You dealt with them with great calm and decency, stepping up to the plate, so that there was never any question but that you would do whatever it took to see that the outcome was a positive one.

A situation that could have pitted your company against the flooring company was gratefully handled with much grace.  And in the end, the work was done and done well, with no harsh words spoken on either side that I was aware of.

I also want to compliment you on your staff.  Everyone always arrived when they said they would, if not a few minutes early.  They were professional, hardworking and pleasant.  Best of all, they took real pride in their work and their company.  That was nice to see.

All of these things, at least in my experience, are unusual in the construction industry.  You made what could have been a distressing situation much easier, letting me know from the get-go that your main concern was that I be happy with the work.  Thank you too for absorbing whatever costs were involved in making sure that happened.
